Open to any South Met region Rover who wants to try out canyoning!
We will be doing Fortress Canyon located in the Blue Mountains, which has a couple of short abseils and and ends with a nice spot for lunch looking over the Grose valley.
Although this is a beginner friendly canyon, participants need to be fit, experienced bushwalkers and have a basic understanding of the use of ropes and other abseiling equipment.
You need to be OAS level 3 vertical (Abseiling) or higher.

You can hire any necessary gear if you don't have your own - select the gear hire option when registering. If you select the option to hire gear, we will provide you with a harness, helmet and descending device.
