Brief Summary:
Cubs will compete for their Group in a series of Billy Cart Events

This is a FAMILY DAY for Cubs to Participate and Parents and Siblings to Spectate.

No Registration required for Parents & Siblings

 

 
Please pack or bring your own Morning tea, Lunch, Afternoon tea

 

All Participating Cubs will receive the Event Blanket Badge, and Trophies will be issued to the Winning Teams of the five events and a good sport trophy.

Plus the overall Winners Trophy.

Entrance will be at the Rocky Point Road Gate

Cars will be directed to park and walk to the campsite with the exception of Leaders and Parent Helpers carrying Carts or towing trailers with Carts and Equipment.

General & Safety Equipment Required

 

  • UNIFORM - Group Polo-shirt (if applicable) & Scarf to be worn. If no group Polo.shirt then Cub shirt must be worn
  • Cubs must be at activity on time PLEASE ready for opening parade
  • Drink bottle - water not soft drink or cordial
  • Bike Helmet* (no helmet - no billy cart ride)
  • Sun hat for when not in billy carts (not baseball style - must have brim around all sides)
  • Elbow & knee pads (preferred not compulsory)
  • THICK garden type gloves * (thin gloves - no billy cart ride)
  • Long sleeve shirt or jumper * (no long sleeves - no billy cart ride)
  • Long pants * (no long pants - no billy cart ride)
  • Closed in shoes * (no closed in shoes - no billy cart ride)
  • Sunscreen

 

Please note, if any of the above safety equipment (*) is not worn your Cub WILL NOT BE ALLOWED TO RIDE IN A CART. This is a family day & we would like to see all our families attend & have a great day.

 

You will also need to bring table & chairs as there are no tables or chairs in camp. Unfortunately due to insurance siblings & parents will not be able to ride in our carts.

There will be be designated Spectator areas.

On-site toilets will be available at Race HQ

Please follow the instructions of Event Staff at all times

Races will be stopped or not start if any course is obstructed
