Provide 1st Aid (HLTAID011) plus Optional Provide First Aid in an education and care setting (HLTAID012) MIN AGE 13

The Provide 1st Aid  course covers the skills and knowledge required to provide a first aid response to a casualty in line with first aid guidelines determined by the Australian Resuscitation Council (ARC) and other Australian national peak clinical bodies.

The unit applies to all persons who may be required to provide a first aid response in a range of situations, including community and workplace settings.

The HLTAID012 component covers the requirements provide a first aid response to infants and children in line with first aid guidelines and required in education and childcare settings

Event is open to Scouts of at least age 13, Venturer Scouts, Rover Scouts, Leaders and Adult Helpers

All attendees must have a Unique Student Identifier number (USI)  and must be provided on registration. To check your USI number or to register for one , please go to https://www.usi.gov.au/students/get-a-usi

There will be an e-learning component to be completed - This must be done in advance of te course start date

Please also note that latecomers cannot be admitted - The RTO through which this is being run mandates that students must be on time
