GWS VENTURER 2024 City Photo Run

On your marks... Get set... GO!

Calling all venturers in GWS and Hills District! Compete against your fellow (or rival) venturer units in the last active venturer event of the 2024 season. Out of region patrols welcome. Please email event organiser for requirements.

Activity Overview

The activity will start at the street level grass level of Wynyard Train Station at 11:00am where all patrols will be formed and given their mission details and briefing. From there, the teams will work together to strategise on how to maximise the amount of points they can gain from the list of tasks, travelling around the city by foot of public transport. Tasks can range anything from setting up a tent on the steps of the Sydney Opera House to taking a group photo in Mrs Macquarie's Chair.

The teams will then rendevous back together at Clyne Reserve at 3:30pm where a FREE SAUSAGE SIZZLE AND DRINKS will be provided as a late lunch. 

Start: Wynyard Train Station Street Level - 11:00am

Finish: Clyne Reserve - 2:30pm with optional BBQ until 3:30pm

Who Can Come

This event is open to any venturer or linking venturer post HSC in the GWS region.

What to Bring

All competitors should bring:

- Scout uniform and scarf

- Sun safety

- Mobile Phone

- Opal card

- Lunch or money for lunch purchase

- Water bottle

Cost

This event is 100% free for any participant. Come along and enjoy a sausage sizzle and a soft drink on us.
