Unit C004 Jamboree Shakedown Camp

AJ2025 Unit C004 Shakedown Camp 

For those from Koscuiszko, Cooma and Braidwood, transport will be via the Cooma bus or carpool.  Travel is by parent drop-off if living in the Illawarra. 

Meet at the Girl Guide camp main campsite.  There will be other units arriving on the Friday night, so please park safely and find unit C004.

Friday Night:  arrive, set up camp, and unit council to plan our weekend. 

Saturday:  do preparation for Jamboree, gateway, fence paling, and patrol systems. Visit and learn from the other units attending this weekend. 

Sunday:  review our personal and group equipment. Depart for home at 2pm.

The gear list attached is for this camp, and is sufficient for this camp. You will have the opportunity to look at the gear you will need for Jamboree.  This is a full standing camp, exactly as we will have at the Jamboree campsite.  Patrols will be required to do their patrol duties throughout the weekend. Any fees in excess of those needed for the weekend will be used for future C004 expenses.
