Region camp for Joeys is to introduce youth members to camp life as they start their Scouting journey.
Joeys need to have been invested to register. The purpose of this camp is to encourage Joey independance. Parents or Guardians may attend however they will not be walking around with the joeys and instead assisting on running activities. As per Scouts NSW policy, adults are to sleep in separately from youth members.
Camping is a requirement if the Joey wants to complete their Camping - Stage 1 badge.
All parents and guardians attending must complete an A2 Adult Helper form and a valid Working With Children check prior to attending the camp. These items take a fair while to process so please start the application early.
