The weekend will be 2 canyons 

Saturday - Fortress Creek Canyon

Then an over night stay at Blackheath Scout Hall. This will be self cater for all meals.

Sunday Canyon - Empress Falls or Grand canyon pending experience of the group

Participants need to be fit, experienced bushwalkers and have a basic use of ropes and other canyoning equipment.

You need to be OAS level 3 vertical (Abseiling) or better

Fortress Canyon is a short (800m) canyon along Fortress Creek, North of Leura, in the Blackheath area of Blue Mountains National Park.  

Fortress Canyon . The canyon itself has 2 technical sections. You'll need to do 2 abseils, the longest being 10m, as well as downclimbs and jumps. Just beyond the end of this canyon, Fortress Creek plunges off a cliff in a 70m waterfall into Govett Gorge.
