Brief Summary:
A fun day for Joeys and Cubs - on, in and around the water - where everyone gets wet, whether it is canoeing, swimming or learning about and playing with water.
Additional Information

Joeys and Cubs will be doing water-based activities on land and as well as having a session of canoeing and swimming.

Land Based activities will be self-run by participants and leaders. 

Meet  for a day of picknicking, fun and games paddling in a clean, calm, flat water environment.

Participants will need to wear uniform to and from the venue and bring the following:

  • Snacks, drinks, lunch, water bottle
  • Swimmers, rashie, towel
  • Water shoes - covered shoes to wear in the water (no crocs, thongs or sandals)
  • Sunscreen and wide brim hat
  • Dry clothes to change into

All participants are required to wear a PFD whilst canoeing or swimming.

Groups are encouraged to bring along Group Canoes, PFDs (life jackets) and paddles if you have them.

Participants are to follow the Australian Scout Law at all times.
