Lower Snowy River
The Lower Snowy is about 300m above sea level, which means it is a warmer climate than the rest of Kosciuszko National Park, this enables different vegetation to grow things like Cypress pines that be seen along the valley. The water is also warmer having travelled many kilometres from Jindabyne over shallow riverbeds warning in the sun.
There will be a compulsory pre-activity Teams meeting on Monday 30th September 2023 at 7:00 pm meeting for gear appraisal, questions and transport.
The weekend is comprised of,

Sunday; Put-in at Halfway Picnic ground and pull-out Pinch River. A little bit hard paddle than day one.
