Back Country Ski Trip Little Austria

Trip Information -

• It is important that all participances have adequate fitness and skill level for the trip. This trip involves long big days of hard skiing on the best slopes in Australia.
• This trip will only be available to participances that can demonstrate they have the required knowledge and skills  
• The correct gear is important for an enjoyable trip. Participants will be responsible for their own gear. Telemark or AT gear required. Tents must be 4 seasons. Gear requirements will need to be check and confirmed well prior to the trip.
• Participants will require a valid Thredbo lift ticket.
• This is a self-catering trip; no food will be supplied.
• We will meet at the Alpine Centre, Friday22^nd September at 5:15 pm for a gear check.
• If there are participants required accommodation on Friday night, camping will be available.

Saturday 23^rd September

• 8:00 am – Depart Wodemanton for Thredbo
• 9:00 am – Catch Kosciuszko Chairlift to Eagles Nest
• 9:30 am – Depart Eagles Nest. Ski past North Rams Head. Through Ethridge Gap. Across Rawson Pass and then Muellers Pass. Skirt around Mount Northcote on its western flank. Across Northcote Pass. Drop into little Austria.
• 2:00 pm – Arrive Little Austria

Sunday 24^th September/Monday 25^th September

• Main Range skiing

Tuesday 26^th September

• 8:30 am - Break Camp
• 2:00 pm Arrive Eagles Nest
• 2:30 pm Depart Thredbo
• 3:00 pm Arrive Wodemanton
