Overview
Georges River and Narwee Venturers and GREH Scouts (by invitation) who already have their level 4 pioneering will be working in patrols to undertake the specific pioneering construction activities required for level 5 pioneering. This inludes the design and construction of
- A 5m flagpole
- A camp kitchen (bench, wash basin, cooking pot support);
- A ropeless bridge,
- A bridge with >3m span.
The use and maintenance of axes and saws will also be covered.
To complete level 5 pioneering venturers and scouts are expected to present to their unit councils the remaining evidence such as first aid qualification and a total of 5 construction projects noting that on the day 3 will be built.

Theory Session
The theory session will be used for personal introductions and to present an overview the course so that on the day 100% of the time can be devoted to the pioneering activity.
